1999: member of the Italian national Geophysical Committee for Antarctic Researches
1999: georadar responsible for the international scientific expedition to Tunguska Meteorite Site (Russia).
1999: geophysical responsible for the international scientific expedition to archaeological sites in Israel.
2001/02/03: geophysical responsible for the international scientific expeditions to archaeological sites in Egypt.
2004: principal convenor and chairman of the Symposium on Surface Penetrating Radar at the International Geological conference         (Florence).
2004: co-founder of CIGRA (Inter-dipartimental Centre for Environmental Management and Remediation) at University of Trieste; vice-director of Department of Geological, Environmental and Marine Sciences
2006: Coordinator of the Courses in Earth Sciences at University of Trieste
From 1990 to 2005: coordinator and/or local responsible for several national and international research projects (European Union funded projects:  JOU2-CT92-0099 ISI, EVK4-ct2001-00046 HYGEIA, MEDA 2002 n.30049)
Author of more than 90 papers on national and international journals in the field of Exploration Geophysics.
